It is hard to believe that we’re counting down the days to the end of the 2020-2021 school year! It strikes us that there have been so many different educational experiences over the past year, and not all of our kids have been affected in the same way. It has us stop and be thankful for the community we’re supporting.
Families that have taken charge of their children’s education know exactly how much progress they’ve made over the past year. They have been able to empower their children to become learners, not just students that sit in a desk and wait for an instructor to appear on zoom to try and give guidance.
One thing that we know there has not been enough of is letting kids be kids. Giving them the time away for play- and dare we say bored- so they can find their creativity. And not the stress of having to deal with slow bandwidth.
How do you think this last year has gone? We hope to have a conversation with you- the good, the bad, and the ugly. We belive in the growth mindset, and we can bring the changes we want to see in the world!
