Dual enrollment is one of those premiums that most families do not know about! High school students can take college classes while there in high school, but schools typically don’t want to deal with the paperwork and transcript issues.
Golden Coast Academy is different: we encourage our students to excel in what they are good at. If there advanced in math, why hold them back when they’re ready for college algebra? Why not get credit Foreign Language credit in two places rather than just one?
The part most high schools don’t want you to know about is that college classes transfer back to your high school at twice the credit. Yes, a one semester college class counts as a full year high school class.
